Information -
Snake Oil is a 1948 Chris-craft deluxe runabout originally
delivered to Dewyer Boat Works in Eagle River, Wisconsin. In August
of 1995, after responding to an ad in the local paper, I was the
proud new owner of a wood boat and a pickup box full of loose
parts. Seven years later, after a complete restoration it was
launched in March at the Mount Dora Boat Show in Florida. Since
then we have enjoyed many hours of boating on the waters of Florida,
Minnesota and Wisconsin.
