    We got the name "BIGWATER" from a description of the Viking in a 1953 Century ad. It really does handle well in rough water. With it's soft chine it turns easily at high speed and maneuvers with a tight radius at idle. It has dual side cable steering, one wheel in back and one wheel at the front seat, but all the engine controls and shift lever are in the back. The 4 cylindre Gray will go a long way on a few gallons but will still get the Viking up on plane. There were 1569 of this model built, but few remain on the water.
